Award winning Fashion Designer - Nicola Lucas (Molloy) moved to Bermuda in 1997 where she met her Bermudian husband Ben Lucas Nicola’s resume includes pattern-making and computer-aided design at distinguished fashion houses, including Nicole Farhi, French Connection, London, UK and Classic Fashion, Auckland, New Zealand.  Nicola has over 20 years of fashion experience and is reknown for her eye for detail and style.

Nicola premiered her label Aqua Designs custom designing and making wedding and evening dresses in Bermuda.  However, after her 2nd child was born, the focus evolved to designing children’s clothes.   Her line has since expanded to meet a market demand for high quality clothing and accessories.

As a busy mum of 3 children Nicola has a passion for design and enjoys choosing and designing fabrics to compliment her collections. Many of the fabrics featured in the collections are designed by Nicola.

In 2018 due to high demand Nicola designed a resort wear collection for women and tweens. 

​Nicola designs and makes every style in her Southampton, Bermuda workroom, taking pride in the quality of each design.
